Linen Drawstring Shorts

I love finding pieces to add to my wardrobe that feel effortless yet relaxed, especially in the summer. While I typically prefer a sundress, I found these breathable, cotton-linen blend shorts a few months ago and purchased them in three color-ways (beige, olive, and white + gray stripes). They are very affordable and easy to throw on with a plain basic tee, tank, or linen button-up. The best part? They have an elastic waistband and drawstring making them feel as if you’re wearing loungewear! After spending much of last year in comfy clothes at home, these are a welcome transitional style. Throw them on for running your errands on the weekend, or a fun day out at a local park.

Ribbed Tee

Crop tops aren’t really my style, but because I’m 5’ with a short torso I can sometimes get away with wearing them without being too revealing. This ribbed crew neck tee isn’t too short, and paired with high-waist shorts or pants the length worked perfectly for me!  Another relaxed style I often wear in the summer are linen button-ups like this one from Vineyard Vines. They’re a classic, versatile piece that will never go out of style. Plus, linen is an ideal fabric for hot summer months. I even wear mine as a cover-up at the beach!

Espadrilles

I know my espadrille wedges (similar) don’t look relaxed, but I honestly feel most like myself with a little heel. I can’t help myself haha! However, here’s a similar flat style that are super cute (and only $25!).

Thanks for reading and hope you all are having a wonderful week! We’re getting closer to our road trip to SC and I cannot wait. Long overdue for some much-needed family time!
