Happy Tuesday! Can you believe we’re already in the last week of September?! Halloween will be here before we know it! Today was the first day that I actually got ready and left my house since getting sick over the weekend. I’m telling you…this sickness came out of nowhere and put me out fast! But I’m slowly getting back into my regular posting schedule after our big move and being sick all weekend.

Today I wanted to share this simple, casual workwear outfit. If you’re new here, my usual daily outfit leans more on the business casual side {I talk more about it in this video on my YouTube channel}. I’ve been this way since high school – I love dressing up for any and every occasion…maybe it’s the southern girl in me? I don’t know but you guys know I love my blouses, especially ones that have feminine details like this pom pom trimmed blouse from LOFT. This is the perfect blouse because it’s not too dressy. It doesn’t feel uptight or restrictive because the fabric is loose and flowy. The sleeves are 3/4 length and sheer making it great for early fall when it’s just starting to get a little cooler outside. I also love the scoop neckline, it’s such a flattering shape! It runs true to size – I’m wearing an XXS for reference.

I paired the blouse with a pair of one of my favorite styles of pants from Nordstrom. I shared these in my last fall try-on haul video but these are seriously the most comfortable pants! I have them in a few colors and I love the fit. They’re a bit more casual though, so best for workplaces without a strict dress code. They have the perfect amount of stretch, although they do run a little big so you may want to size down because they do stretch out throughout the day. I purchased them in thyme but they come in six more colors – all perfect choices for fall!

For shoes, I’m wearing my studded nude mules that are so comfy and versatile {PS – they’re currently on sale for less than $100 and come in four other colors!}. I think the gold studs add a unique detail on this classic staple. They matched my new earrings perfectly, too! I mentioned in my last monthly favorites video that I’m trying to be more adventurous with my jewelry choices and I thought these gold and blush earrings were so fun! I have the clip-on version because they’re a little heavy but not too bad. I had them on for over four hours today without any issues.

I have lots of new fall content in the works so be on the lookout! What types of workwear posts/videos would be the most helpful for you?

Thanks for stopping by!
