Today I wanted to share what’s on my wishlist for the fall season. I’ll admit it takes me a while to get into the fall spirit living in Florida, since our “fall” is more like a slightly cooler summer. But there are so many beautiful textures and patterns out for this season that I couldn’t wait to round up some of my favorites.
Style
The romantic bell sleeves and lace detailing of this blouse immediately got my attention. It feels nostalgic and reminds me of the types of blouses I gravitated toward as a teenager, yet more sophisticated. The bird print is a bit unexpected and playful. I’d pair it with jeans and woven suede flats like these.
Jacquard-printed pants are such a classic for fall. The intricate floral print on these is eye-catching without being over the top, and I love the warm golden color. They’re versatile, too —pair them with a sweater, beaded necklace, and flats for a daytime look, or with chocolate brown lace camisole and kitten heeled mules for a night out.
The embroidered detailing on this cardigan gives such a pretty, feminine touch. It’s one that you can throw on over anything to immediately elevate a simple outfit. I love how the embroidered detail continues along the sleeves.
I always suggest a satin skirt for your fall wardrobe, and while I typically don’t bother with trends, the lace trim on this one is very trendy this season. However, for less than $100, I think it’s worth trying a modern take on a classic staple. I think the lace detail adds a sweet, romantic touch.
The gorgeous, rich bordeaux color immediately drew me to this handbag. It’s a modern silhouette and I love the clean, simple design.
Beauty + Fragrance
Dior just released their new Skin Tint and I cannot wait to check it out. I’m going to hold off for a bit since I recently purchased the new Westman Atelier foundation (reviewed here), but once I’m ready to buy another complexion product, this one is at the top of my list. Dior foundations are always some of my top-ranked, and I love that this one includes an SPF.
This Hydrating Lip Gloss from m.ph by Mary Phillips comes in so many pretty colors, and the formula is exactly what I look for in a lip gloss –hydrating, non-sticky, and smooth.
In the fall, I tend to have a candle burning when I’m home, and Diptyque makes the loveliest fragrance blends. They’re complex and elevated, and the glass vessels look beautiful around the home. I’m particularly drawn to this new scent for fall, Le Soir, which is a relaxing blend of chamomile, sage, and woody cedar.
