Spring is officially here and I thought I’d share how I’m refreshing my wardrobe for the season. I always feel that spring is the perfect time to infuse something new and fresh into my wardrobe. While timeless classics will always have a place in my closet, this year I’m embracing updated twists on traditional staples. From versatile separates to oversized silhouettes, here’s how I’m creating a spring capsule wardrobe that effortlessly combines style with ease.

I believe that spring outerwear should strikes the perfect balance between style and functionality. I typically shop for versatile pieces that can be worn day to night. While I always suggest investing in a lightweight trench coat in classic camel for the season, this year I’m opting for an oversized blazer like this. The oversized silhouette is a contemporary twist on this timeless basic that feels modern and fresh. I also love this modern cropped cut of a classic trench. It’s a fun way to switch things up for the season.
Chic Vest
Vests have made a huge comeback and I’m here for it. They immediately make any outfit look polished and chic. A tailored vest is a wardrobe staple that exudes sophistication. A lady jacket is the perfect way to instantly elevate any outfit. I have been wearing this one non-stop since I bought it. I love the chic brass buttons and crop fit. It’s honestly one of the most versatile pieces in my wardrobe. I suggest choosing a timeless style in a neutral color such as black, navy, or camel.

Statement Accessories are a great way to incorporate modern elements into your spring wardrobe. From oversized sunglasses (just snagged these beauties on sale!) to chunky gold jewelry, shop for accessories that make a bold statement. Finding statement bags in vibrant hues or unique shapes is also another way to add personality to your outfits. I love wearing handbags with natural fabrics in the spring, and just added this raffia top handle bag to my collection.
