A Fun Floral Spring Dress from Draper James

[dropcap custom_class=”big”]I found the perfect fun, floral spring dress just in time for Easter! Easter is one of my favorite holidays. Growing up it meant hunting for Easter baskets hidden by mom before church, enjoying lunch with lots of family, and most of all celebrating Jesus’s resurrection. A childhood Easter tradition that I’ve continued as an adult is purchasing a new dress for church. There’s still something fun about finding a new dress for Easter {+ of course for brunch, too!}.[/dropcap]

As soon as I saw this hyacinth circle dress on Draper James’s site I had to have it. I like to think that Reese Witherspoon and I are long lost sisters so when she launched Draper James, I knew everything would be right up my ally. 😉 The fit and flare silhouette of this dress is super flattering, flirty, and easy to wear. The beautiful floral print is fun yet not overpowering, even on my petite 5’0 frame. Since we don’t have a boutique near us in Orlando, I took a risk and ordered it online but it fits perfectly – no alterations needed! There’s a slight stretch in the cotton fabric which makes it very comfy & forgiving, too. However, if Draper James released a petite collection I’d be first in line!

I paired it with my go-to blush leather sandals that I’ve mentioned before in this post. I love wearing these because they’re easy to walk in and go with everything. They’re my most worn pair of heels and they come in several colors and patterns, too!
